Our work in Kenya is focussed on the care of orphans and vulnerable children in Kisii province about 250km West of Nairobi. The ministry is undertaken by Messiah For Kenya who are involved in the feeding, clothing, housing, schooling, and instruction in Bible study and prayer, of over two hundred children aged between two and eighteen years.
Presently (October 2020) we are engaged in building a home to house the children, who are in temporary accommodation. US$150 000 is needed to complete the first phase of the project. Our deadline to finish the first phase in end of October, but progress is being hampered by the slow trickle of funds. Please consider donating.
The building of the MFK Family Home has made incredible progress over the last eight weeks despite many days of construction lost due to inclement weather, and the delay of building supplies arriving on site. Foundations have been laid, walls completed to roof height, today, 10th November, the concrete slab roofs are being laid. We are aiming for completion of Phase 1 by the month end.
Some more good news is that current landlord has given MFK a generous extension till the end of November 2020.
Sadly, funding is lagging far behind, just US $130000 is needed to finish the work. Please consider supporting this noble venture.
