[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][us_single_image image=”666″ size=”full” align=”center” lightbox=”1″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Damon and Sandra paid a weeks visit to Zimbabwe at the end of March in order to meet with leaders, visit projects, observe the feeding of orphans, and have times of ministry, prayer and encouragement with all involved.
We visited our farming project in the North, where we expect to harvest up to 100 tonnes of maize in June, which will supplement the feeding of orphans.
We took part in the distribution of food to the orphans and we were greatly moved to see the excitement and gratitude typified by singing and dancing, as each orphan received several packages of food.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][us_separator type=”invisible” size=”small”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Two trips were made to sites in the South where we conferred with the pastors and leaders, and distributed food. The sinking of boreholes is a great need in these areas, but is a very expensive exercise.
In the East we visited a village where a few years back we assisted in the building of a school/ church/ community hall. This hall has been put to great and fruitful use. Here again we distributed much needed food, and there was great celebration.
