After the devastation to the economy caused by 16 years of civil war, the last 2 decades have seen enormous progress in Mozambique in the area of basic education. The church still has a mandate, however, to demonstrate the kingdom of God – His love and light, to orphans and widows and the many vulnerable children living especially in the poverty-stricken and often drought-affected rural areas of Mozambique. Pro-Vision desires to partner with local churches with a vision to help their community’s vulnerable children through pre-school teacher training, school supplies, orphan feeding and other interventions such as the building of reed classrooms, water supply or medical and primary health care education.
We value partnerships with volunteer teams who work alongside our Mozambican servant leaders. The transmission of skills has proven a valuable investment in our community ministry. The Lord uses visiting individuals and teams in surprising ways. Contact us in that regard. Ideal team size is 4-8 people.
